Prescription Policy
Medications must be taken only in accordance with the instructions and dosage prescribed by your Potomac Valley Orthopaedic Associates physician.
Prescription requests are handled only during regular office hours. When phoning in a request, please include the following information:
- Patient’s full name
- Patient’s date of birth
- Name of medication
- Pharmacy name and telephone number
Medication requests after 3 p.m. will not be completed the same day.
No narcotic pain medication prescriptions will be given when the office is closed.
