We have two occupational therapists at Potomac Valley Orthopaedic Associates.
Marcelle graduated from the University of Maryland in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. She continued her education, receiving her Masters of Science degree in Strength and Conditioning from George Washington University. She then went on to receive her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Howard University. Marcelle specializes in treatment of the hand and upper extremity and speaks Spanish fluently.
Robert English, OTR/L, CHT is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience in Occupational Therapy. He has dedicated the last 17 years exclusively to the treatment of injuries and disorders of the upper extremity and places the highest emphasis on client centered care and close communication with referring providers. He is accomplished in post-surgical rehabilitation of the upper extremity, proficient in sophisticated orthotic design, and is experienced in conservative management of chronic conditions such as tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
